Hello and welcome to our homepage. We live in a beautiful little town in Arizona and have been blessed with two wonderful sons and terrific grandchildren. We are fortunate to be retired in the best spot in the world and are enjoying every minute. Although Fred has been battling a disease called Sarcoidosis since October '98, life is good and we count our blessings every day.
We love the beaches at San Diego, baseball - especially our Diamondbacks, hiking, western sunsets, pesto pizza, reading, cooking (healthy, of course), our friends, star-gazing on the patio, and email.

Hiking is once of our favorite things to do. We have so many beautiful trails it's difficult to choose which one to take. We can walk from our home to this beautiful site, known as Coffee Pot Rock.
I have enjoyed hiking with some of the Towandas for many years and Mother Nature never fails to give us a special gift - a wild flower, red-dressed maple trees long after the leaves should have fallen, cloud formations or a breathtaking sunset.
Tis truly food for the soul.
We spend a lot of time on our patio - reading, visiting with friends, napping in the hammock, and of course, eating most of our meals. Since we live on a rock pile all the plants have to be in pots. It's been a challange for someone with a brown thumb - I'm learning. I also installed a drip system which makes gardening much easier.
